COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Denmark's technology group GN Store Nord (GNTC.CO) said on Thursday it had extended a cooperation agreement with U.S. peer Motorola (MOT.N) to include Bluetooth headsets."GN has won a tender to become OEM supplier of a Bluetooth headset to Motorola, in close competition with several other highly qualified bidders," the company said in a statement.
GN Store Nord said the deal was very important because it consolidates the group's position as one of the world's leading manufacturers of cellphone headsets.
More than 400 million cellphones are sold worldwide every year, of which an estimated six percent of these were blue-tooth enabled, GN said.
